FAMILY TRAUMA SURVIVORS' NETWORK
3rd. Annual Leadership Training Conference
in Haines City, Florida
April 3 - 6, 2008

This 4 day interactive conference begins on Thursday, April 3, 2008 with a networking opportunity to meet other peer leaders and hear about their programs. The emphasis for the first evening will be on Team Building and Trust Development. Day 2 will be a full day of focusing on Effective Leadership, Exploring your Gifts, and Options within the Consumer Field.Day 3 will focus on the Needs of Survivors, the Trauma Response, Group Dynamics and negotiating supportive relationships. Day 4 will be a partial day with an emphasis on Strategic Planning, Marketing, and how to become a non-profit.


Who will benefit from these workshops: Survivors who are interested in developing their leadership abilities, those interested in Leadership in the field of peer programs for Trauma Survivors, and those interested in helping to develop a Trauma Support Group in their area will benefit from the networking opportunities and information presented on trauma & peer leadership in these workshops. Workshops are interactive with hands on training and opportunities to plan a peer program that would meet the needs of those in your community. A manual will be
provided along with handouts for use in future presentations. You will come away feeling comfortable in your abilities to lead a group, confident in your knowledge of peer operated programs, and poud to be of service in this field. Conference participants will be given a Certificate for the training.
The conference will be held in Haines City, Florida, just minutes away from Orlando's famous attractions.

Cost: $175 (meals and lodging included). Save $10 if registration is paid by Jan.5th., 2008. (Payment plans are also available.)
